It is often very difficult to find the right relational balance between the player, the coach and the parents. Marc Langasque, Romain's father, is kind enough to be with us to talk about this subject. A nice debate in perspective, with nice surprises during this webinar

À propos de l'événement

For a very long time, the place of parents in the sports world has always been a subject of debate:

- Parents often accused of being too present and of hampering, by their expectations, the progress of their child(ren), imagining for them a "Woodsian" golf career, and ready to sacrifice everything for it...

- The coach, a kind of "living god" of the world of sport, in charge of bringing the child to the highest level, and who thinks he can or must, educate the parents first before doing progress his colt...

- And finally the child, tossed about by this couple often on the verge of divorce, having to manage in addition to the pressure of competition, the expectations of each other...

There is necessarily a happy medium to be found in all of this to achieve the right balance. One of the people best placed to talk about it with us is Marc Langasque, father of Romain Langasque, recent winner on the European Tour and with an impressive amateur record.

He will come and discuss his experiences with us and will be interviewed by Stéphane Mourgue, Golf Pro at Domaine de Manville and specialist in mental preparation for many years.

We will also have a nice surprise during this webinar.

Are you a player's parents or a coach? Join us on Zoom to ask Marc your questions or ask your questions live on the PGA France Facebook page.
